What is an UrbanQuest? An UrbanQuest is the best way to explore a city! It’s a fun family outing, a date, or even a work event. If you’re crafty enough to solve our clues, we’ll reveal the mystery restaurant where we’ve made reservations for you to have lunch or dinner.
How long does a Quest take? Quests generally take around 1.5 hours. We make your reservations for 2 hours from the launch time of your Quest so that you have some wiggle room.
How does it work? Once you’ve purchased a Quest, you can launch it from your My Quests pages anytime. You’ll choose from a selection of mystery restaurants before you begin your Quest. We don’t want to ruin the surprise, but we do want to make sure you enjoy the food that you’ll be eating! (For example, you can choose from a steakhouse to pub food to Italian. Then, tell us how many people will be in your party. Finally, print off your clue package and you’re ready to start Questing!
Is the cost of dinner included in the Quest? Most of our Quests do not include the cost of the meal. Unless the Quest description specifies that a meal is included, please bring money to cover the cost of dinner.
How far do I have to walk? The Quests generally require you to walk around 3-4 kilometres. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes!
What if I get stuck on a Quest? We’ve tested our Quests carefully but sometimes life throws obstacles in the way. If you have difficulty with a clue or cannot find something, just refer to the hints and answers at the back of your clue package. You’ll never get stuck because we give you all the answers!
How big can my team be? A team can be as big as you want it to be, but we think 2-4 people is a good number.
